Art is an expression of emotion, it is a dimension of the mind. Art is one of a kind, it can be painted or drawn perfectly at once. It evokes an emotional response and causes self reflection and thought! The possibilities are endless!

Art is any image, scripture, form or other manner that stimulates an emotional response in effect.

Art is an expression of one’s emotions, regardless of medium or viewer opinion.

Art is expressing yourself through creativity and individuality. Everyone is an artist and every person is a piece of art because you are an expression of your own creativity. There is no right or wrong in art. Everything is art and you can express it anyway you like. If is the physical representation of a mental concept.

Art in Public Places; Public Access to Art
Your task is to research a work of art or a collection of works of art that are found in public places or that the public has access too regularly. Your location/work of art may include architecture, a sculpture garden, urban art projects, historical archeological sites, public (free) museums or collections or even collections of art that are open to the public periodically but are otherwise kept in private collection/reserve.
Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation using keynote/ powerpoint, video, a display board, brochure, or other multi-media sources. Extra credit will be given for creative presentation and well thought out design; using the elements and principles of art.
Project should include:
- type of art/architecture
- location
- dates
- public accessibility
- period/style (if applicable)
- At least 5-7 points of interest
